Last updated on NOVEMBER 21, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Integration Bus - Version 14.1 to 14.1.3 [Release 14.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release.
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

Performance issue was seen during clearance price changes from RPM to SIM via RIB. While monitoring flight recorder output on the RIB process through Java Mission Control (JMC), it was noticed that between each message process there is significant delay and this was because of the high CPU usage from rib-private-kernel-14.1.0.jar file of RIB.

Steps To Recreate:
1. Have at least 500K messages in ETCLRPRCCHGFROMRPMTABLE topic.
2. Let the ClrPrcChg Subscriber, channel 1 subscriber in SIM run.
3. Turn on the timings on this subscriber to see the delay between messages.
