Symptoms
In Oracle Financial Services Balance Sheet Planning (BSP) 8.0.2.0.8, using Internet Explorer with the Language = French (Canada) [fr-CA], when you update a Prepayment Scenario to add Seasonality values, apply the change, and re-open the Prepayment definition, the dates are not displayed correctly under 'Prepayment Specification'.
Before making the change, Origination Dates are displayed as follows:
Start Origination Date | End Origination Date |
---|---|
01/01/2000 | 01/31/2017 |
02/01/2017 | 12/31/2099 |
After adding seasonality, Origination Dates are displayed as follows:
Start Origination Date | End Origination Date |
---|---|
1.0 | 200044 |
1.0 | 200371 |
This issue only occurs when the Internet Explorer 11 Language is set to use Language = French (Canada) [fr-CA]. This issue does not occur if Language = English (United States) [en-US].
Steps to Reproduce:
- In Internet Explorer, go the Tools > Internet Options > General > Languages
- Set the top Language to French (Canada) [fr-CA]
- In BSP, go to Master Maintenance
- Right-click and select Assumption Forms
- Go to Prepayment Scenario
- Edit a Prepayment Scenario and add a Seasonality value
- Click Apply
- Edit the definition again
The Dates do not look correct.
