Log Files in /IN/service_packages/SLEE/tmp are Not Rotated
(Doc ID 2329779.1)
Last updated on MAY 17, 2019
Applies to:Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.3.0 to 184.108.40.206.0 [Release 4.3 to 12.0.0]
Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.0 to 220.127.116.11.0 [Release 6.0 to 12.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.
On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C) up to 18.104.22.168, after an out of the box installation, not all the log files in the /IN/service_packages/SLEE/tmp directory are rotated/archived.
If left alone, it is possible for these log files to get large enough that the /IN partition completely fills up and no NCC/OC3C application will be able to run, effectively causing a complete loss of service on that server.
This can be easily prevented with a few trivial changes.
