No Transfer Rate Output When FTP Process Contains Both a Transfer Pricing Rule & Adjustment Rule (Doc ID 2330496.1)

Last updated on MARCH 28, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing - Version 8.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)

In Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) 8.0, when you run an FTP Process that includes both a Transfer Pricing (TP) Rule and an Adjustment Rule, the adjustment rate is output successfully but no value is output to TRANSFER_RATE:

0 7.55

The Transfer Pricing method used in the TP rule is "Caterpillar".

If you remove the Adjustment Rule from the FTP process, it outputs a value to TRANSFER_RATE successfully.  However, you expect it to output a rate when both 'Transfer Rate' and 'Adjustments' are selected in the FTP Process.

Note: If both the Transfer Pricing and Adjustment Methods use the Caterpillar method, neither the TRANSFER_RATE or Adjustment column is populated.  When the option "Use TP Method from Selected TP Rule" is used in the Adjustment Rule, the Adjustment column is not populated for any of the "Bulk" TP methods.
