Unable to Login to Unifier After the LDAP Configuration Is Changed

Information in this document applies to any platform.
The custom.properties file is being used to get the LDAP connection properties.
Some changes were made to the custom.properties file and then the Unifier Configurator was used to create the EAR file.
The Unifier application is restarted, however all users are unable to login.
