Price Changes and Clearances Processed Incorrectly by SIM Data Seeding Scripts (Doc ID 2333124.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 19, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 16.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When the price changes/clearances are converted using Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (RSIM) Data seeding scripts from RMS ITEM_LOC table, it doesn't convert the date into GMT. When the data is displayed in the SIM UI, it assumes the date in ITEM_PRICE and ITEM_PRICE_HIST is in GMT and converts that to store's local time. Hence the date appears incorrectly.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Run data seeding script after SIM installation.
2. Observe the incorrect date for existing price change and clearances.
