Getting a Wrong Format from Phone Field in 'Partner' Page for Phone With ()

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When accessing the Partner page with a phone number having parenthesis in the partner table, an error saying that the format of the Phone field is incorrect is shown.
However, when accessing the Supplier page with a similar record, the error does not appear.
1. Go to RMS and login.
2. Select Foundation Data > Suppliers and Partners > Manage Partners.
3. Populate partner field with a partner that has a phone with ().
4. Click Search button.
5. Click Partner ID link.
6. Update last number of phone and tab out. Result: Getting an incorrect format record on the Phone field.
