Busy cursor displayed for 15 seconds inside Event Details Save Changes dialog

If you open Event Details, make a change, then select the upper right corner X to close the dialog, you are prompted to save your changes.

You can still select Yes/No, but it is a bit confusing since the user thinks they need to wait for something due to the busy cursor.

Also seeing it when you display a dialog asking the user to confirm if they want to exit the application (again triggered by selecting the X to close the workspace dialog).
Or when a Create Parallel dialog is displayed using the Control Tool.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Open Event Details and make a change.
2. Click the X to close the window, a dialog popups up asking if you want to save your changes. Note the busy cursor displays for up to 15 seconds.

Video of steps to recreate are attached to this KM Document, see list of attachments to download.
