On ALM 8.0.4 when attempting to select Interest in Advance or Set in Arrears for Interest Type in the Product Characteristics UI, after saving, the UI always reverts to Interest in Arrears.

When entering from the interface in Product Characteristic (new business) interest type is always equal to interest in arrears. After changing the interest type in interest in advance or set in arrears and saved it, when opening it again nothing has changed (interest type=interest in arrears).

When checking to see if correct value is saved in FSI_M_PROD_CHARACTERISTICS, to see if the column “interest type” from metadata table was correctly populated, it looks correct. Due to this, it is concluded that this is a interface problem. After this, when trying a lot of combinations to understand the problem, it appears to be happening when adjustable type- fixed.

Expect the UI to show actual selection.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate : Asset Liability Management -> ALM Assumption Specification -> Product Characteristics
2. Select Interest in Advance for Interest Type for New Business Assumptions. Apply and Save
3. Edit save Product Characteristic and find it shows Interest in Arrears for Interest Type even though FSI_M_PROD_CHARACTERISTICS.INT_TYPE shows last selected value =2.
