HTML5 Windows are Blank and No Data Loads. The Following Error Occurs In The Managed Server Log File: "java.net.ProtocolException: Didn't meet stated Content-Length, wrote: '61656' bytes instead of stated: '242979' bytes"

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When attempting to launch the Open Projects window from the drop-down menu for Projects, or any other HTML5 window within P6 (web), the page appears blank and does not load.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
When attempting to launch the Open Projects window from the drop-down menu for Projects, or load any part of P6 which loads using HTML5, the window should appear and load data for all projects to select one or multiple projects to open.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

When enabling the developer tools within the browser and loading an HTML5 page, the following error occurs:

Additionally, the managed server log (.log .out) file will generate in the log when attempting to load the HTML5 page:

Steps to Duplicate
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. After installing Oracle Critical Patch Updates for October 2017
  2. Login to P6 Web
  3. Go to Projects tab
  4. All projects and EPS nodes load
  5. Go to the drop-down menu and select Open Projects
  6. Window displays but does not load data

To Debug IE for the Error to display:

  1. After logging in to P6 Web
  2. Right-click page and go to "Inspect Element"
  3. A console window will open at the bottom of the page
  4. Go to the Projects tab drop-down menu and select Open Project
  5. The error will be displayed in the console window
