ActionEvents Do Not Work When MultiFields Are Configured to Start at 0 (Doc ID 2335538.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 04, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Insurance Policy Administration J2EE - Version 11.0.0.0 to 11.0.2.8 [Release 11.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 11.0.2.7 version, Activity

Actual Behavior
ActionEvents do no work when MultiFields are configured to start at 0.
If you have a transaction where MultiFields are configured to start at 0 and fields inside of the MultiField elements have action events around them, they do not work at all.
Once you modify a MultiField that has an action event around it OIPA will throw a error that it can not find the definition of the field on which you are trying to base your condition .

Expected Behavior
Expect action events to work as expected and not cause an exception in OIPA regardless of the starting number.

Steps to Reproduce
1) Configure a Transaction to use MultiFields that start at 0
2) Place an action event around one or more fields (Example - OnChange)
3) Add this activity in OIPA
4) Modify the field that would cause the action even to trigger
4a) Notice expected behavior will not happen and a stack trace will be thrown in the logs
