P6 Team Member Login Fails With Error "The Authentication Connector Is not Available" In the Browser

Symptoms


P6 Team Member login fails with the following message in the browser:

The authentication connector is not available


After setting the P6 EPPM logging level to DEBUG, the following stack trace is generated in the P6WebAcess.html log file:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Team Member.
2. View reported message.
