File Download Fails on First Attempt in DFM Using IE 11 (Doc ID 2336209.1)

Symptoms

Actual Behavior

On a DFM network with two File Manager instances, a user has uploaded a file to first File Manager. Another user which has the second File Manager as Preferred file server is trying to download the file, but download popup window is showing no progress and user need to close the window and retry the download in order to get the file to his local machine.

 

Expected Behavior

User should to be able to download the file from first attempt.

 

Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Setup an instance with 2 File Manager.
  2. User1 upload a file to FM1.
  3. User2 which has FM2 as Preferred file server tries to download the file.
  4. Download file window show no progress and User2 need to close that window and retry the file download to get the file to his local machine.
