'RetailSaleAuditImport' Batch Fails with Error “THEAD Not Present At Line Number 2” for all input files that do not Contain Data (Doc ID 2336374.1)

In Store Inventory Management (SIM) application, find that, the RetailSaleAuditImport batch fails with error “THEAD not present at line number 2” for all the blank transaction files generated by Retail Sales Audit (ReSa) export process. ReSA generates blank files for stores, if there are no new transactions to be sent to SIM. However, SIM should ignore processing these blank files.

Steps to Recreate:

1. Ensure that there are no sales audit transactions to be reported for a store for a given day.
2. Run required ReSA batch programs and ensure that at least one blank file is generated.
3. Export the generated files to SIM.
4. In SIM run the batch and note that the batch fails for the blank file with the reported error.
