RM 5.2: In Program Explorer Output Mapping, Result ID Is Always In Uppercase, Even If Edited (Doc ID 2337111.1)

Last updated on MARCH 29, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Insurance Insbridge Rating and Underwriting - Version 5.2.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 5.2.0.0.0 version, RateManager with HF8 installed

In program explorer, in the output mapping, the following situations exist with used variables:

1) If a new variable is added the result ID is, by default, in uppercase. If the result ID is edited to lowercase it then switches back to uppercase after clicking on 'Save'.
2) For an existing variable when the result ID is in lowercase, when the Result ID description is edited, the Result ID changes to uppercase after clicking on 'Save'.

For both cases this is irreversible and there doesn't seem to be a possible workaround.
