Completed KO FA Did Not Initiate A Remote Disconnect Command (Doc ID 2338426.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 06, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Utilities Service Order Management - Version 2.1.0.3 to 2.2.0.1.0 [Release 2.1 to 2.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In Service Order Management the completed Knock Order (KO) Field Activity (FA) did not initiate a Remote Disconnect Command.

D1-UpdDvc script does not allow multiple completed field task to exist as a child of Cut for Non-Pay orchestrator. If there is existing completed field task, then script terminates and orchestrator moves to check for measurement.

Is it expected that the D1-UpdDvc script would allow for multiple completed field task to exist as a child of Cut for Non-Pay orchestrator and that all field tasks would need to be completed before checking for measurement.

Steps to Recreate
1. Set up a Device that is a Smart Meter.
2. Install this device on a Service point.
3. Create a Cut for Non-Payment, change settings so that a Field Activity of Knock Order is created first before a Remote disconnect.
4. Once Field Activity is for Knock Order and completed, Remote Disconnect is not issued
instead an “On Demand Read” is issued.
