Last updated on FEBRUARY 26, 2019

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Null disposition are generating during PTS (Put To Store) picking and all the messages are getting stuck in RIB Hospital in RMS.

Steps to Reproduce:

Pre-requisite: Planned residual and roundable flag on Item should be set to Y

Step 1: Create an order for one item unit qty 20 for any warehouse.
Step 2: Create one container in reserve area with 200 unit of same item.
Step 3 : Perform case picking.
Step 3.1 : perform PTS with mentioned item flag (roundable, planned residual) as 'Y'.
Step 4: complete PTS picking and when all the destination picking is completed. Container ask for "container is empty?". Press no and give less than quantity then exist in container (input 140 instead of 200-20 i.e. 180) and confirm.
Step 5. There will be one negative inventory adjustment (-40) with null reason code. => fails in RMS-RIB with "[E] Invalid disposition information"

Expected behavior: Here system should have generated DIST-null InvAdj to reduce the inventory in RMS.

Step 6. Check container distributed quantity is 0 and container_status is D.
Step 7: Perform return to stock to this container.
Step 8. Return to stock adjustment will publish with 0 quantity (DIST-RIP) and 140 quantity (null to DIST) at same time. => fails in RMS-RIB with [E] The inventory adjustment quantity cannot be zero
Expected behavior: Here system should have generated DIST-RIP InvAdj with 140 units to make the inventory available in RMS.
