Symptoms

Cell copy functionality disabled if cell is in a locked column.

You are considering altering the default behavior in CentricityTool.properties for copy table to the clipboard behavior from the usual 'selected' (the selected rows will be copied to the clipboard) to 'cell' (the selected cell will be copied to the clipboard):

default_table_copy_mode = cell

There appears to be an issue that the cell copy will not work for a cell if its column is included as one of the locked down columns in the table.  This does work in NMS v2.3 and newer.

Q) Is there anyway to make this behaviour table specific other than global as above?
A) Yes. The value in CentricityTool.properties is the default value, but each table can be configured with its own default. Add copy_mode=”CELL” to the TableBehavior element
