Oracle Communications is pleased to announce Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) release 12.0.
BRM 12.0 is a foundational product in the Oracle Communications monetization portfolio, providing a complete revenue management system for all types of digital service providers with support for complex rating and billing scenarios, high volume usage processing and multi-sided business models. This major release of BRM provides a modern platform for service providers to innovate, profit and grow as they evolve to support broadband technology innovations and new digital services.

The release is certified with the following products:

- Offline Mediation Controller 12.0
- Elastic Charging Engine 11.3.0.4.0 or later
OBSOLESCENCE:
As Billing Care now features all key functionality from thick GUI( Graphical User Interface) client applications from previous BRM releases viz., Customer Center, Payment Tool, Payment Center and Collection Center, these thick GUI client applications are no longer available with BRM 12.0 release. The optional managers Email Manager and Brand Manager are also not available with BRM 12.0 Release. Oracle Communications Offline Mediation Controller Cartridge - Microsoft IPTV Collection is no longer available with Offline Mediation Controller 12.0.
With the release of BRM 12.0 a Third-Party software package is no longer available for download from the Oracle Software Delivery Cloud. Before installing BRM 12.0 you must download and configure the system with the following pre-requisite software.
• Download and install certified version of JRE.
• Download and install certified version of Perl. Also pre-compile the Perl libraries using specific compiler options recommended for BRM 12.0. See "Compiling Perl Libraries" section for compiler options details.
