Users Cannot See Chinese Characters in an Export CSV Template File Using Microsoft Excel in a Chinese OS

Chinese characters are not displayed in an export template .CSV file when using Microsoft Excel in a system configured to use the Chinese language.


The Chinese characters should display.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Unifier with Language set to Chinese.
  2. Export any BP's Line Item Template.
  3. Open the CSV file within Excel in a system set to use the Chinese language.
  4. Chinese Character cannot be seen.
