Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Pricing Design Center(PDC), 11.1.0.9.0 version, Transformation for PDC,

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
'Sequential' discounts configured in PDC Patch Set 9 work as though they were configured as 'Parallel'.

STEPS
-----------------------

  1. Define charge offer - 5 Euro, recurring monthly, priority 1000
  2. Define discount offer 1 - Remaining charge type (meaning Sequential), recurring monthly, priority 500, discount 50% charge
  3. Define discount offer 2 - Remaining charge type (meaning Sequential), recurring monthly, priority 400, discount 100% charge
  4. Create bundle containing all above
  5. Restart Real Time Pipeline
  6. Create account and purchase above bundle
  7. Expected results:

    Recurring event with three balance impacts:
    1. 5 Euro (result of charge offer)
    2. -2.5 Euro (result of discount offer 1)
    3. -2.5 Euro (result of discount offer 2)

  8. Actual result:

    1. 5 Euro (result of charge offer)
    2. -2.5 Euro (result of discount offer 1)
    3. -5 Euro (result of discount offer 2)


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
