POS Transaction Is Not Processed If It Has More Than 999 Line Items in the Webservice Message

Symptoms

When a transaction with more than 999 items is tendered in Oracle Retail Point-of-Service (ORPOS), the transaction sent to Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) is not processed due to the following error "Failed to invoke webservice".

Steps to Recreate:

1. Log in to the ORPOS.
2. In the sale screen scan more than 999 line items and tender the transaction.
3. Check the <STORE_SERVER>\pos\bin\SIMBatchedTransactionsQueue directory and notee that the ORPOS server is unable to send the batch file.
4. Check the ORPOS Store Server log file and notice the above mentioned error.
