Error While Downloading Large Email Attachments Via Convergence (Doc ID 2344123.1)

Users connecting remotely on a low bandwidth connection to Convergence report that the 'Loading...' screen gets briefly held at 10% and later, once they get access to the mails, they are unable to download Email attachments that are of larger (>2MB) size.
While downloading the attachment, they get a status message saying "Unlimited Time Remaining" and the download never completes. This behavior happens only when Webmail (Convergence) is accessed on older browser versions, such as Mozilla 3.5.
