Error On Selecting Decoded View For a Draft E2B In Argus 8.1.1 -2147467259 Description XML ServiceRequest failed (Doc ID 2344546.1)

Symptoms

On Applications Oracle Argus Safety Version : 8.1.1

When generating a draft E2B from Argus 8.1.1 able to see the XML just fine in Viewer, however when switch to the decoded view get error below



View Format = Decoded View

Error No: -2147467259 Description XML ServiceRequest failed.
Server Error



Able to view XML just not the decoded view



The issue can be reproduced with the following steps.

  1. Click on Draft report to generate (or click on Draft hyperlink for a generated report)
  2. E2B viewer opens - XML can be displayed fine, but Decoded view is failing with errors per above
