Forecast Consumption by Demand Class
Users want to explore Forecast Consumption using Demand Class. Currently they have their Forecasts from Demantra fed as input (local Demand Schedule) to the ASCP plan. They want only the customer Sales Orders booked directly in that Organization and not the ISO's to consume the forecast. They have the following questions:
1) What are the setups both from the Source Side and Destination.
2) Users understanding is that Consumption attempts to consume demand class forecasts first. If it does not find matching entries, it tries to consume forecasts that do not have a demand class (as per ASCP implementation guide). How do they ensure that the ISO's do not get consumed in the forecast at all since the Demand Schedule attached to the plan will have forecast for all the items?
3) Are there any other points that need to be considered to achieve the above requirement.
