Header Level is Displaying Incorrect Version Number after First Check Run on 2.16.1.0.23 Patch

(Doc ID 2346928.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 17, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Health Insurance Claims Adjudication - Version 2.16.1.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After the first check run on 2.16.1.0.23 the header level is showing the incorrect version number when the claim has had one or more superceded versions.
As an example, an xml payload from OHI to cafi with has the following:

<ns2:financialMessage claimCode="AAAABB000001" version="2" previousVersion="1" (current version=2, previous version = 1)

where in actuality the current version is 6. All the data is correct for version six reversal of version one. In the financial message screen version 6 is stamped with message result M and a message id, and version 2 thru 5 are marked as superseded.

The issue can be reproduced by adjusting a paid claim several time as a full retraction, then generate a financial message and look at the version number.

The business impact is that claims are not able to be paid.
