System Calculated Totals Are Displayed When Total Value Is $0.00
(Doc ID 2347314.1)
Last updated on APRIL 04, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Retail Sales Audit - Version 16.0.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Totals are displayed in the 'Store Day Summary' Screens even when no value is present. These totals produce a value of $0.00 and as a result the over/short screen is flooded with totals.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Configure a total with the parameter: "should a system value be calculated for this total" - Yes.
2. Re-total a store/day.
3. Note that total will produce a value of $0.00 even though no data was triggered for the total.
Business Justification:
For example, The business has over 75 totals that contain configuration where a system value needs to be calculated. However, the majority of these totals do not need to calculate on a daily basis.
As a result, the user have to navigate through dozens of total that are not relevant and show a value of $0.00. The business would prefer the code be changed where totals that do have a value to have NULL condition; instead of being displayed with a value of $0.00.
