For a Post-Void Transaction Imported Using RTLog the Update_datetime Is Not Updated (Doc ID 2347946.1)

Last updated on MARCH 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Sales Audit - Version 14.1.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After importing a Post-Void (PVOID) Transaction for an already-imported Sale through Sales Audit Import (SAIMPTLOGI.PC) the status of the Transaction becomes V. However, the Update Timestamp, update_datetime, on SA_TRAN_HEAD table, would not change.

What is Working
-----------------------
NOTE: When you do the Post-void from the front end it updates the timestamp update_datetime from the SA_TRAN_HEAD table.

Steps to Reproduce
-----------------------
You can reproduce the issue at will with the following steps:
1. Import a Sale/Return Transaction using RTLog.
2. Import corresponding PVOID transaction to RMS via RTLog. (Do not do this via Online because it works fine if you Post-Void the transaction online).
3. Notice the uppdte_datetime for the Transaction for the revisions 1 and 2.
