For the system to run smoothly the purge job must run regurally to delete old processed data. If the purge job has not been running or has failed there could be large amounts of processed data in the staging table and that will make it slow to process.
1. The purge can be set up to run on it own agent, making it more managable.
2. What to do when there are large amounts of data to purge.
3. Make sure that the purge has enough UNDO table space.
4. Run the purge when load is light and analytics processing is not running.
