Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In a specific condition TN Search not returning any results if minimum 2 EL Chars (pointing to different entities)are included in the search criteria.

This issue is specific to both the EL chars having few values in common.
Consider scenario:

"Owner" EL char for TN deriving its value from Party spec "Owner".
"ServiceProvider" EL char for TN deriving its value from Party spec "Service Provider".

Create instances of Party with spec "Owner" & names:
001,002
Create instances of Party with spec "Service Provider" & names:
001,003

So EL Char Owner & ServiceProvider have 001 value in common.
Create TN instances & select 001 as value for EL Char Owner & ServiceProvider.
Create few more TN instances, select 002 for Owner & 003 for ServiceProvider.

Do a TN search with Owner & ServiceProvider =001, no rows returned.
Do a TN search with Owner 002 & ServiceProvider 003 , rows will be returned.
