Scripts Containing RETL Calls Get Stuck and Do Not Terminate (Doc ID 2352486.1)

Symptoms

Oracle Retail Advanced Inventory Planning (AIP) jobs (Ex: cron_export_sched.sh -> sched_secondary_source_out.sh, dm_wh_prealloc_preallocate_sku.sh) which makes calls to Oracle Retail Extract Transform and Load (RETL) are randomly getting stuck and are not terminated. These executed flows are exports from AIP-Online database (such as schedules). Upon killing the RETL process and restarting, the same script runs and terminates with success.
