How To Configure Cluster Non-SSO Load Balancer URL And Port? (Doc ID 2352633.1)

Last updated on APRIL 19, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Price Management - Version 16.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Using Retail Price Management (RPM) 16.0.1, Non-Single Sign On (SSO) for a 2 node clustered install, what parameters do user need to give to the installer to utilize a specific port on load balancer?

Note:   <LB_URL> = Load Balancer URL

The below parameters are given to the installer:

input.installation.url = <LB_URL>
input.appserver.host = <Admin Server Host>

The managed server on both nodes is on 9001.

Installer completes successfully on the URL:   <LB_URL>:9001/RPM/launch?template=rpm_jnlp_template.vm

But you need the URL to be:  <LB_URL>/RPM/launch?template=rpm_jnlp_template.vm (on port 80)

You tried specifying input.installation.url = <LB_URL>:80

Which resulted in successful installation with the wrong URL:   <LB_URL>:80:9001/RPM/launch?template=rpm_jnlp_template.vm
