Default Log Rotation Stopped Working In MS Version 8.0.2.1, Unable To Start Rollovermanager Process (Doc ID 2352710.1)

Symptoms

Default log rotation stopped working.

Example:

Discovered that the rollovermanager process is not running:

$ ps -ef|grep roll

imsadmin 16178 602 0 Jan 16 ? 0:02 /opt/sun/comms/messaging64/lib/job_controller
user 13827 13822 0 17:41:35 pts/1 0:00 grep roll

The option is enabled by default but unable to start it up:

msconfig> show rollovermanager.enable -def
rollovermanager.enable: 1

# /opt/sun/comms/messaging64/bin/start-msg rollovermanager
rollovermanager is disabled

Changes

Recently upgraded to latest Messaging Server patch 8.0.2.1.20180104 on a few servers.
