Customer Contact – Action Algorithm Not Triggered After Upgrade To (Doc ID 2354948.1)

A Populate Contact Method (CM-POPCCMETH) algorithm is plugged into the Customer Contact – Action Algorithm entity which populates the Preferred Contact Method field when a Customer Contact is created. It derives the contact method based on the Bill Route Type on the Account. If one is not found, the preferred contact method will be defaulted to a value specified in the algorithm parameter.

In the attached replicated scenarios, the Customer Contact is created by one of Overdue Events. In the ORMB 2.4 environment, the Preferred Contact Method is populated when the Customer Contact is created, but in the ORMB 2.6 environment, the Preferred Contact Method is blank. It looks like the algorithm is not being triggered in 2.6 when a business entity add is invoked. Why is that?
