Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR:
When viewing log files for the Update Baseline function, the logs are blank.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR:
Update Baseline log shows details of the completed Update Baseline job.

STEPS:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Log in to P6 Web.
  2. Open a Project.
  3. In the EPS view, highlight the Project, select Actions, Define Baselines.
  4. Create a Baseline for the Project.
  5. Edit the original Project (add extra Activities).
  6. In the EPS view, highlight the Project, select Actions, Define Baselines.
  7. Highlight the Baseline and click Update Baseline.
  8. Select all values seen, including the 'Activity Data' tab, select 'Add new activities and activity data...'
  9. Run the Update.
  10. View the log file under Administer, View Service Status.
  11. The Update Baseline log is a blank page.
