Misdirected Container Receiving Message Is Failing In RMS RIB Hospital with Invalid Carton Error (Doc ID 2355302.1)

Symptoms

When a Misdirected container is received in Store Inventory Management System(SIM) the receiving message is failing in Retail Merchandising System(RMS)- Retail Integration Bus(RIB) hospital with Invalid carton error.

Error

"javax.ejb.EJBException: Exception while processing request: Error from {call RMSSUB_RECEIVING.CONSUME(?,?,?,?,?,?)}: [E] Invalid carton, does not exist in system (unwanded): 000000000000000201."


Steps To Recreate:

  1. Create a Store to Store transfer.
  2. Ship the transfer.
  3. While receiving make sure that there is an additional new carton which does not exist on Shipment tables with a an item which is not on the transfer.
  4. Receive the transfer
  5. Notice the Invalid Carton error.
