ATPD Node Does not Allow Large Duration to Support DCA BFT (Doc ID 2356874.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 08, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller version 6.0.1, the control plan includes a node called Attempt Terminate to Pending TN with Duration (ATPD).

Attempt Terminate to Pending TN with Duration, connects the call up to a maximum duration without charging the caller, for example connecting to a customer services representative. Fast key: ATPD

The ATPD node does not support amounts granted bigger than 864000 deci-secondson a system that treats everything as a voice call; internally this becomes an issue as this sets a limit to 864000 bytes. This limit is too low.
