SALPRG Batch Fails To Drop Last Partition From TRAN_DATA_HISTORY Table Which Meets The Purge Criteria

When SALPRG batch attempts to drop last partition of TRAN_DATA_HISTORY table which meets the purge criteria, it fails to drop the partition generating the following error:
Steps to reproduce:
- Make sure TRAN_DATA_HISTORY table is defined as interval range partition.
- Make sure the dates associated to that partition fall within the purge criteria for salprg.
- Make sure that you have only one partition for TRAN_DATA_HISTORY table
- Run salprg
- Notice the error message:
salprg_1~20171218084019~process~TRAN_DATA_HISTORY~-14083~ORA-14083: cannot drop the only partition of a partitioned table~EXECUTE DYNAMIC STATEMENT ALTER TABLE RMS01.TRAN_DATA_HISTORY DROP PARTITION TRAN_DATA_HISTORY_P1 UPDATE INDEXES
