Copy And Paste From Excel Into Demantra Not Working When Custom Format Cells Used In Excel (Doc ID 2358485.1)

They have a requirement wherein in the Excel they format the cell to
Custom---> _(* #,##0.00_);_(* (#,##0.00);_(* "-"??_);_(@_)

After that if they input any number into the excel copy, then do a copy and
then try to paste that number into Demantra editable series ( either numeric
or string type ) a pop message comes up with the following

Some or all the cells in the paste area contain different cell types. You can
either choose to continue with the paste option by clicking YES option ( in
this case only cells with the same type will receive the pasted value)

If they click Yes nothing happens

However if they go back to the excel and change the format of the cell to
Number then the paste works

But the customer has a business need to use the cell format as Custom as they
are using macros

Able to copy and paste the data from Excel to Demantra

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. select series including drop down series
2. Copy from excel
3. Paste in worksheet

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot copy/paste data
