How do I set a user password in WAM v2.2.0.0.0

I have restored to WAM 2.2.0.0.0 and I am now trying to get my feet wet in it, doing basic tasks like setting up a user account for myself. I went into the User module and duplicated SYSUSER to BWSCHUBA. First off, what is the difference between the User ID and the Login ID? Second, how do I set a password? I tried logging in with both BWSCHUBA (my user id which seems to be limited to 8 characters) and BWSCHUBACH (my Login ID), with both sysuser00 (in case it took the password of the user being duplicated) and blank, and I get "Unable to login." I have scoured the user documentation and cannot find instructions to set a user password. Please see the attached screenshot.
