Preconfigured Change Orders BP Does Not Calculate Previous Change Orders Values As Expected (Doc ID 2362305.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 03, 2019

Applies to:

Primavera Unifier - Version 16.2.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In some Unifier environment where Applications schema installed is u_platform, Primavera Unifier Platform, and the preconfigured 'Change Orders' Business Process (BP) has not been modified in uDesigner:

Expected Result: The value of 'Net Changes by Change Orders' in a Change Orders record upper form should match the value of 'Approved Change Orders' in the 'Contracts' base commit record. E.g., if the value of 'Approved Change Orders' for the 'Contracts' base commit record is $1,000.00 then when a new 'Change Orders' record is created the value that should come into the 'Net Changes by Change Orders' data element should be $1,000.00.

Actual Result: The value of 'Net Changes by Change Orders' in the 'Change Orders' record is not matching the value of 'Approved Change Orders' in the 'Contract's base commit record. It is only considering the value of the line items added to the 'Change Orders' record being created. E.g., if the 'Change Orders' record is created without any line items then the value of 'Net Changes by Change Orders' in the upper form is $0.00. If a line item is added to the 'Change Orders' record in the amount of $2,500.00 then the value in the 'Net Changes by Change Orders in the upper form is recalculated to '$2,500.00'.
