AutoVue Server is No Longer Starting On Linux Server After Installing Operating System Security Patches. Getting Errors in AutoVue Log: " Port already in use" and "Address already in use"

Symptoms

When attempting to start the AutoVue server on Linux the AutoVue server console will appear to startup, but it will not fully start. The AutoVue process will not start either on the AutoVue console.

The following error can be seen in the AutoVue server log file (log4j-roll.log):

Steps to reproduce the problem:

  1. Install the latest Linux security patches.
  2. Try to start the AutoVue server using ./jvueserver
