Error: "An Error Occurred While Processing your Request. Please Try Again." When Attempting to Open Existing Activities with WBS Node in P6 Web (Doc ID 2364069.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to open Activity hyperlink in the dashboard scorecards with existing activities on WBS node results, the following error occurs.

Note:
Error does not occur in WBS node that has no activities.


ERROR

 "An error occurred while processing your request. Please try again."


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to the P6 web application
  2. Go to Dashboards --> Director --> 'KPI-Dir'
  3. Activities column 'View' hyperlink will be available. Click on it.
  4. For projects which have activities, "An error occurred while processing your request. Please try again." error message is displayed.


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Activities hyperlink on dashboard scorecard does not deploy.
