Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The call reference number received by ACS as a hex field is sent across DCD as an integer representation of (some of) its ASCII digits:

IDP:
2018/02/05 09:27:57 acsChassisTelephony.cc 4159 [16869] acsChassisSLEE callReferenceNumber(CAP)=11 22 33

DCD extraction:
2018/02/05 09:27:58 acsChassisProfile.pcc 144 [16869] Chassis retrieveProfileFields: Found field 0 tag 0x00050022 [00327714] in Block Index (18) = 0x00223600, 6 bytes

2018/02/05 09:27:58 acsProfileConcept.cc   173 [16869]        avpConfig             extracted an Integer of 825307698 from the profile.

You will note that 825307698 = 0x31313232, and the last two bytes have gone missing (11 22).
