Inventory Inquiry/Edit by Container Screen Creates a New Container with Inventory Disposition of 'TRBL' (Doc ID 2366523.1)

Last updated on MARCH 09, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Warehouse Management System - Version 15.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On the screen "Inventory Inquiry/Edit by Container', if a new container is created on the location defined in  "SCP.unlocated_location", it gets the INV_DISP = 'TRBL' whereas the inventory adjustment created is from the type: NULL -> 'RIP'.

Steps To Recreate:
1. Create a container on the screen "Inventory Inquiry/Edit by Container"
2. Indicate the location same as defined for SCP.unlocated_location to the new container
3. Associate an item to the container
4. Verify that the new container was created with the INV_DISP = 'TRBL' and the inventory adjustment was created with NULL->'RIP'.

Expected Behavior:
Based on <Document 2004920.1>, container in SCP.unlocated_location, the container status will remain 'I' and based on the SCP value of distrib_unfin_wip, the inventory disposition of the container will be 'WIP'/'RIP'. If the distrib_unfin_wip is 'Y' then the INV_DISP will be 'RIP'; if the distrib_unfin_wip is 'N' then the INV_DISP will be 'WIP'.
