Symptoms

For Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM) 8.0.2, for the Data Mapping T2T_OPTIONS_CAPFLOOR, the source column V_INT_CALC_TYPE on STG_OPTION_CONTRACTS is too small to support the Expression on V_INT_CALC_TYPE used in the mapping.

T2T_OPTIONS_CAPFLOOR.mapping.xml contains the following Expression to map V_INT_CALC_TYPE to INT_CALC_TYPE:

CASE when(UPPER(STG_OPTION_CONTRACTS.v_int_calc_type) = 'DEFAULT') THEN 0
when(UPPER(STG_OPTION_CONTRACTS.v_int_calc_type) = 'NUMERIC AVERAGE') THEN 1
when(UPPER(STG_OPTION_CONTRACTS.v_int_calc_type) = 'GEOMETRIC AVERAGE') THEN 2
when(UPPER(STG_OPTION_CONTRACTS.v_int_calc_type) = 'RANGE CALC') THEN 3
when(UPPER(STG_OPTION_CONTRACTS.v_int_calc_type) = 'BINARY RANGE') THEN 4
ELSE NULL END

V_INT_CALC_TYPE has a definition of VARCHAR2(5 CHAR).  The values used in the Expression are greater than 5 characters and will not fit into V_INT_CALC_TYPE.
