ccsMFileCompiler Crashing when Compile Large Datasets (Doc ID 2369593.1)

Last updated on MARCH 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control - Version 4.4.1 to 12.0.0.0.0 [Release 4.4 to 12.0.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (NCC) up and including to 12.0.0.0, the ccsMFileCompiler on the Voucher and Wallet Servers (VWS) can crash every time it tries to compile a large set of rating data.

It is unlikely to be obvious whether this is the actual cause of a ccsMFileCompiler crash so it is highly recommended that a Service Request (SR) be raised for investigation by Oracle Support and for delivery of a fix if deemed necessary.

When raising the SR, please provide the information as described in Note 1555511.1.
