Line Item CSV Import Is Not Working for Existing or Auto-Created Records (Doc ID 2369693.1)

Symptoms

When trying to import a .csv file into a Line Item Business Process for an existing or auto-created record, it is unsuccessful (this process is successful when importing to a new record.

In addition, the following error is generated in the log:

Field A: Input required
Field B: Please specify line item amounts that reduce budget by prefacing with (-) negative operator.

The validation on upper form is triggered when the user tries to import the Line Items.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

When importing a .csv to new record:

  1. Login to Unifier.
  2. Navigate to the impacted Business Process log.
  3. Click: New > Import.
  4. Click Browse to select the import .csv file.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Click Save to close the window.
  7. Data imports successfully.


# Import csv to existed record

  1. Login to Unifier.
  2. Navigate to the impacted Business Process log.
  3. Click: New > Import.
  4. Click Browser to select the import .csv file.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Error message "Import could not be completed. Do you want to download a file with errors shown?" displays and the data is not imported.
  7. Reported error can be viewed in the log file
