Metadata Restore Fails with '[667] Requested Operation Failed' and 'Could not create Directory' (Doc ID 2373074.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) Infrastructure 8.0.4, when you try to import objects using the Object Migration > Restore Metadata screen, the restore fails with the following message:

[667] Requested Operation Failed



The following error exists in the ImportExport.log from the web server's OFSAA log directory:

Thu Jul 06 11:15:50 EDT 2017[IMPORT][IMPORT_OFSPFTINFO_DIM_LOADER_CUSTOM_OFSPFTINFO][ReadDataFromXML] Fatal Error ... Could not create Directory /metadata/restore aborting....

The ftpshare directory contains "777" read/write/execute privileges.

As a result of this error, the metadata restore fails.
