Convergence Hangs At 75% Loading - Errors With "Error processing the request by the proxy servlet: Error while executing the service request: Mail Service: Remote host closed connection during handshake" (Doc ID 2374648.1)

After running the init-config script to configure Convergence, the login hangs at 75% loading.

There's a loading bar that says "Mail", and ends at 75%, where it hangs for a minute before a pop-up dialog shows:
 "The mail service is not available. Please try again later."

If this pop-up is left for a while, another pop-up shows:
"The request to the server has timed out. Please try the action again after a short time."

At the same time, the following errors are observed in the iwc.log:


Re-ran the init-config script for Convergence.
